Automation Control Designer

aeSolutions is hiring an Automation Control Designer to join our Migrations and Upgrades group in our Greenville, South Carolina office. Under the direction of others this person will perform design tasks including control enclosure and junction box layout and wiring design, instrument and electrical field wiring design, instrument specifications, instrument installation details, electrical single lines, grounding plans, cable tray layouts and routing, motor elementary diagrams, panel and field wiring drawings, cable schedules, and instrument loops sheets.
Success in this position will be evaluated by demonstrating growth in design skills and abilities, as measured by producing and issuing deliverables within budget, on time, in compliance within industry and Company standards, and with minimal errors; documented contributions toward teamwork, client service & satisfaction are highly valued.

Qualifications / Experience:

Qualifications / Experience:
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience
- 0-2+ years of experience performing design-related tasks as listed above
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint); demonstrable experience with AutoCAD
- Effective communication, organization, and analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% of the time; Valid driver's license required
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
